Movie
 Extra! Extra! Read all about it, or actually, see it below by
clicking on one of the links. You will see me in a movie playing a
slot machine at the Mohegan Sun Casino.
The movie “ Passionada “ was filmed partly on location at the
Mohegan Sun casino. I play the part of a patron playing a slot
machine while two of the main actors in the film walked down the
aisle behind me. If you look on the left of the screen you will see
me facing left at the slot machine playing it while a waitress
serves me a drink. The actors walk thru the aisle then stop to talk
so I am in the middle of the screen then.
I was there as a non-union extra with some of my actor friends. This
was a union/non-union film so the union, SAG, actors shot their
scenes, then the non-union actors and extras were called in for
their scenes. I was asked by the casting director to bring three
sets of clothes, a suit to play the part of a dealer, a casual
outfit to play the part of a patron and a sporty outfit. I wound up
in a casual outfit playing a slot machine patron. I got to meet the
actress Theresa Russell in person! She was so nice and very
attractive. It was a long day, over 12 hours, because the extras
went last this day of shooting. It’s a good idea to bring books,
magazines or something to entertain yourself while you wait for your
scene. A free buffet was served also. I had a great time. The pay
was a scale $75.00 for the day, I had to sign a voucher for the time
and turn it in to the casting director.
The lead actress, Sophia Milos, a great singer also, she sang in the
movie was on a CSI-Miami episode this season.
The movie can be rented in your local movie rental store. My part is
